Job Summary
Talent Acquisition Advisor responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for multiple business units, advising managers on role requirements, developing posting strategies, assessing candidates through interviews and assessments, and guiding offers. The role emphasizes building pipelines, leveraging sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Glassdoor), applying ED&I principles, coordinating interviews, ensuring fair and consistent processes, and collaborating with HR partners on compensation, immigration, and onboarding. Requires university education, CHRP asset, strong communication, attention to detail, and experience in HR practices within a unionized environment. Located in Mississauga/Toronto, Ontario, with hybrid/on-site work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Three- or four-year university education in an appropriate field (CHRP designation is an asset)
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment
- Ability to consult with hiring managers and stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS systems (SuccessFactors is a strong asset)
- Knowledge of Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Strong sourcing and candidate-management skills
- Ability to build pipelines and manage a candidate experience
- Experience with branding and market outreach
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines
- Ability to work in Canada and legally eligible to work
