Job Summary
Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to perform detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial waterproofing, concrete restoration, façade restoration, and masonry projects. Measure and quantify specific scopes including sealants, expansion joints, and coatings while organizing electronic project files and bid documentation. Assist estimators with pricing worksheets, prepare Requests for Information (RFIs), and coordinate with vendors to obtain material and subcontractor pricing. Ensure all takeoffs are completed accurately within bid deadlines and participate in pre-bid meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of commercial construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs using digital takeoff software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
