Job Summary
Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and engage in their community. Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and participation in social and recreational activities; accompany clients to social, recreational, and volunteer activities; monitor and report on clients' progress with person-centered support; maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Requires a High school diploma or GED, two years of related experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Bonus points for multilingual abilities (English, Spanish, or Tagalog).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of related experience and/or training working with persons with developmental disabilities
- Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility
- Comfort using basic technology for documentation and communication
