Job Summary
The Tailings / Geotechnical Engineer will provide specialized technical input for tailings management, heap leach facilities, and geotechnical engineering projects. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, managing project delivery, and developing client relationships. The role requires a degree in civil or geotechnical engineering with proof of expertise in soil mechanics, as well as relevant mining and project management experience. The position entails travel to project sites both domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering or engineering geology
- Proven ability in soil mechanics

- Experience with soil mechanics
- Knowledge of national and international design guidelines
- Mining and geotechnical experience relating to mine waste disposal/facilities
- Project management and consultancy experience
- Strong team collaboration skills
