Job Summary
CDL-A driver position with solo and team routes across IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, ND, SD, NE, WI and frequent driving around Chicago. Solo drivers are home daily; team drivers home weekly. Start times from 17:00 to 1:00, work week Monday–Saturday. Earn starting pay of $1,350.00 (0.54 cpm) for solo and $1,550.00 (0.36 cpm) for team, with 1,500 miles/week solo and 3,000 miles/week teams and 8 stops per run. Must meet driving qualifications, pass DOT medical, and maintain clean driving record; ability to lift 40-75 lbs; experience required and downtown Chicago driving comfort; double trailers preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid class A driver's license
- DOT Medical card
- 21 years old or older
- Ability to pass drug test (hair/urine)
- No SAP drivers
- No more than 2 jobs in last 12 months
- Must be able to chain in winter
- No accidents or tickets in last 3 years
- 12 months of trailer truck driving experience
- Comfortable maneuvering in downtown Chicago
- Ability to lift/carry 40-75 lbs
- Double trailer preferred
