Tactical Security Agent (Full-Time)

Job Summary
Security Agents deliver a consistent, high-visibility security presence in the Ice District, Rogers Place, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. Responsibilities include conducting regular patrols to deter hazardous or unlawful activity, reporting incidents and deficiencies in standard formats, responding to medical emergencies with CPR/AED/First Aid, and developing positive external relations with social agencies and enforcement partners. Candidates should be comfortable with 12-hour day and night shifts, possess strong communication and report-writing skills, and demonstrate de-escalation and use-of-force training according to policy.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of security industry-related experience
- Valid Alberta Security Services and Investigators Act License (SSIA License)
- Valid ProTect and ProServe certificates
- Valid First Aid, with CPR/AED or equivalent (St. John’s, Red Cross, Emergency Medical Planning Canada – GMCC)
- Valid Use-of-Force and verbal de-escalation training
