Job Summary
Tactical Data Link Instructor responsible for developing and delivering the Joint Tactical Operations Interface (JTO) training program, coordinating courseware and world-wide academic training for joint, allied, and coalition forces. Duties include developing and maintaining JID course materials, preparing or reviewing OPTASK LINK messages, coordinating Link 16 network selections for exercises, conducting approximately 30 Joint/U.S. Training Courses CONUS and OCONUS annually, and leading curriculum reviews and multimedia enhancements in an electronic classroom. Requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance, full-time onsite schedule, and ability to deploy worldwide to support Mobile Training Teams; strong Microsoft Office, presentation, and briefing skills; and capability to liaison with Combatant Command staffs and procurement/engineering teams for tools and configurations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or one year of related experience may be substituted for each year of the required education.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain JICO Instructor qualifications if no prior JICO qualifications held.
- 4 years of Multi TDL experience and training
- Military instructor experience
- Capable of worldwide deployment supporting Mobile Training Teams, often under field conditions
- ISD or curriculum development experience
