Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain tablet press machinery while independently troubleshooting problems and optimizing machine performance. Process powdered products to produce tablets, ensuring all operations stay within limits and meet schedule requirements. Perform cleaning and clearance of equipment, conduct in-process monitoring and inspections, and complete necessary documentation. Collaborate with supervisors, QA, and team members while adhering to company policies and GMPs. Requires working knowledge of high-speed machinery, measurement tools, and hand tools, plus prior experience operating compressing or tablet-making equipment. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.), and hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc).
- Prior experience operating compressing / tablet making machinery.
- Must have mechanical aptitude and ability
- Attention to detail, and a desire for ensuring a high-quality product
- Basic math skills, English reading and writing
- Minimally High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds to load machine.
- Fast Paced, On feet throughout the shift.
