Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive training in Blackjack and Craps during an 8-to-10-week program running Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Demonstrate proficiency in dealing at company speeds, shuffle cards thoroughly, and manage game pace while maintaining visual contact with cards, dice, and the shoe. Deliver courteous service to guests, accurately handle wagers, issue chips, and verify documentation in compliance with Nebraska gaming regulations and internal controls. Report irregularities and suspicious activity to supervisors, adjust pace based on player ability, and accept cash buy-ins per policy. Successfully pass an audition to transition into a dealer role earning $5.00/hour plus tips, with shifts assigned based on property needs.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong guest service focus with safety as a priority
- Ability to demonstrate dealer skills through an audition
- Proficiency in basic math
- Ability to differentiate cheque colors and values
- Knowledge of company internal controls and table game regulations
- Commitment to ethical conduct and guest service excellence
- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License
- Must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
- Physical mobility, agility, balance, and coordination required
- Frequent lifting up to 75 lbs
