Job Summary

Deal multiple table games on a rotational basis to meet client demand while protecting game integrity and adhering to standard policies. Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players, explaining game rules as requested. Process all cash and maintain proper accounting for assigned property items. Maintain familiarity with gaming standards and policies, including those specific to each game. Learn additional games as required by management and represent the property on public gatherings as directed. Ensure compliance with New Hampshire Lottery Commission regulations and report any illegal activity to Security or Management.

Required Qualifications

Must possess professionalism and ability to handle high levels of stress
Must be able to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Must have ability to: Stand for 180 minutes at a time on a carpeted floor or hardwood floor
Must have ability to: Reach across a table that is waist high to give and take the player's cards and wagers
Must have ability to: Deal cards, which involve sweeping arm motions from side to side
Must have ability to: Finger dexterity so as to be able to shuffle, deal cards, and cut cheques
Must have ability to: See and read so as to be able to identify cards and pay and collect bets
Must have ability to: Communicate effectively and maintain positive customer relations at all times
Must have ability to: Provide adequate games protection at all times
Must have ability to: Perform basic mathematical functions
Must be able to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights

Must be able to Maintain an intimate and sound understanding of all standards, policies and procedures, including general policies and procedures of the Table Games department, and those particular to each game in which the dealer provides service

Must be able to Deal multiple games on a rotational basis, depending on training and acquired proficiency, so as to meet client demand, protect game integrity, and allow others to obtain game proficiency, as determined by management
