Job Summary
Monitor controls and inspect cards and gaming equipment to ensure compliance with state, federal, and tribal regulatory requirements. Assist in monitoring payouts, verify monetary transaction accuracy, and maintain proper records for chips and player ratings. Handle customer and employee disputes, report suspicious play or collusion, and identify patrons causing disturbances. Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and assist the Pit Manager with recruitment, hiring, training, and personnel issues. Make table fills/credits as needed and ensure the department presents a professional environment. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations and be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
- Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and carry up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and grip items while working at assigned table
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer two years of dealing
- Prefer experience as Table Games Supervisor in three games
- Games are BJ, MB, and All Carnival games
