Job Summary
Test, adjust, and balance (TAB) air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to meet design specifications. Inspect systems for compliance with project plans and identify performance issues. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data. Accurately document all testing, adjusting, and balancing activities using project-specific reporting procedures. High school diploma or GED required; NEBB or AABC certification preferred but not required. Strong math skills and the ability to read technical documents and SOWs; ability to work independently with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
