TA Warehouse Technician (Turnaround Specialist)

Job Summary

Manage incoming materials, equipment kitting, and staging while coordinating transfers with the Main Warehouse. Support Turnaround contractors by issuing materials, recording dates, and resolving issues in real-time, then oversee post-event cleanup and warehouse restoration. Transact all inventory using SAP, IPS, and EDMS systems; log receiving info, purchase orders, and staged locations. Perform Positive Material Identification and Quality Control inspections, manage Nonconformance Reports, and coordinate with drivers for small package deliveries to refinery units. Conduct cycle counts, maintain 5S housekeeping, and operate a forklift as needed. This full-time, project-based role at Insight Environmental's Lima Refining Company requires 12-hour days, 7 days per week during peak phases.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn various databases and systems
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be available for 12-hour days, 7 days per week during peak phases
  • Must be able to perform cycle counts
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of housekeeping (5S)
  • Must be able to coordinate with drivers and refinery personnel
  • Must be able to perform small package delivery to refinery units
  • Must be able to manage non-stock/direct charge items
  • Must be able to perform Positive Material Identification (PMI)
  • Must be able to perform Quality Control (QC) documentation
  • Must be able to manage the Nonconformance Report (NCR) process
  • Must be able to coordinate post-turnaround cleanup
  • Must be able to remove unused materials from staging areas
  • Must be able to restore warehouse organization
  • Must be able to issue materials
  • Must be able to record transfer dates
  • Must be able to resolve material issues in real-time
  • Must be able to coordinate material transfers (pick-ups/returns) with the Main Warehouse
  • Must be able to help manage incoming materials/equipment including kitting, tagging, and staging
  • Must be able to transact all aspects of inventory using SAP (MM/PM modules), IPS, and EDMS
  • Must be able to log receiving info, POs, and staged locations
  • Must be able to inspect materials for defects
