Job Summary
Lead T56 and Helo program Validation and Verification engineers, establishing requirements, design rationale, and verification evidence for high-impact safety projects. Manage Work Breakdown Structures and CAM responsibilities while serving as the primary interface between Operations, Supply Chain, and external customers. Coach the team on Systems Engineering and V&V behaviors, lead technical reviews, and support SAR and Red Top closures. Drive re-engineering of the aging supply chain with new technologies like ALM.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Masters degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Desired Qualifications
- System level engineering understanding
- Engineering Technical Approver Experience
- Proven Leadership completing design projects with complexity and high business impact
- Technical experience involving gas turbine hardware and systems
- Ability to understand manufacturing engineering and supply chain perspectives
- Ability to make sound decisions with limited information
- Experience managing a component from clean sheet through test
- Strong technical writing ability / experience
- Strong communication, relationship building, and ability to create visual diagrams to influence and share information
