Job Summary
Lead T56 or Helo program V&V engineers and manage requirements, design rationale, and verification information for high-impact safety projects. Serve as the primary interface between Operations, the Supply Chain, and external customers to drive V&V behaviors and re-engineer aging supply chains with new technologies. Take ownership of Work Breakdown Structures and CAM responsibilities while leading technical reviews and supporting SAR and Red Top closures. This role requires a US Citizen with a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering and 3+ to 5+ years of aerospace experience. Located in Indianapolis, IN, the position offers a salary range of $122,741 - $199,454 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- A Masters degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- System level engineering understanding
- Engineering Technical Approver Experience
- Proven Leadership completing design projects with complexity and high business impact
- Technical experience involving gas turbine hardware and systems
- Ability to understand manufacturing engineering and supply chain perspectives
- Ability to make sound decisions with limited information
- Experience managing a component from clean sheet through test
- Strong technical writing ability / experience
- Strong communication, relationship building, and ability to create visual diagrams to influence and share information
