Job Summary
Deliver quality instruction to students across all locations within the Lethbridge School Division on an on-call basis from Monday through Friday. Provide daily coverage for programs ranging from Early Education through Grade 12, including French Immersion, IB, Montessori, and alternative curricula. Maintain a safe and secure learning environment by completing required police information checks, Intervention Record Checks, and providing valid photo identification and Social Insurance Number documentation prior to employment. Earn a daily rate of $284.71 with prorated pay for partial and extended days, while enjoying evenings, weekends, and school holidays off.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must posses or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Applicants considered for our Substitute list will be available on an on-call/casual basis Monday through Friday
- A police information check; including Vulnerable Sector Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment that does not have any charges or convictions
- A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services
- Proof of photo identification, may be a valid driver's licence, provincial identification card as issued by a licensed government registry office, valid passport or Nexus card
- Documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee's legal name
