Job Summary

Monitor and manage daily Close of Business (COB) processing, investigating failures, errors, or delays to ensure uninterrupted core banking operations. Troubleshoot T24 technical environments, batch jobs, and scripts while performing system health checks and log analysis across live, test, and development settings. Log and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, and document resolutions. Liaise with Temenos or vendors for escalations and coordinate with infrastructure and functional teams during critical support windows. Work in shifts, including overnight hours, to align with COB execution cycles.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience working in Temenos T24 technical environments, including COB support
  • Strong understanding of T24 architecture, including jBase/TAFJ, routines, and OFS processing
  • Hands-on experience in managing COB tasks and batch job configuration
  • Familiarity with key T24 modules such as AA, FT, ST, MM, and LC
  • Scripting experience (Unix/Linux shell scripts, jBase routines)
  • Knowledge of database systems (Oracle or MSSQL preferred)
  • Experience with monitoring tools and job schedulers (e.g., Control-M, Cron)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in shifts (COB is typically handled after working hours or overnight)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in Temenos T24 (TAFJ/COB/Technical streams)
  • Experience with T24 upgrades or core banking transformation projects
  • Previous experience in banking IT support environments or managed services providers
