Job Summary
T2 Junior Technician responsible for installation, repair, certification and technical support of electronic products and systems at mining sites. Duties include setting up and testing units to meet requirements, performing quality checks, troubleshooting to determine root cause and implementing corrective actions or escalating to senior staff, maintaining electronic equipment and software per company standards, completing required documentation for mine and customers, and providing on-site support to ensure safety and contractual obligations. Role requires liaising with technical staff and customers, reporting unresolved issues, supporting senior technicians and supervisors, developing customer relations, and adhering to health and safety regulations and risk assessments. Must have N4 Electronic/Electrical, 2-4 years electronics/IT experience, good computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and own vehicle; strong communication, detail orientation, problem-solving, and adaptability are valued.
Required Qualifications
- N4 Electronic/Electrical
- 2-4 years’ experience in electronics (hardware and software) and IT (hardware, networks and software)
- Knowledge of company product
- Good computer skills (Microsoft package)
- Valid driver’s license
- Own Vehicle
- Ability and willingness to communicate
