Job Summary
Retail Assistant Manager partners with the Store Manager to develop the store team and deliver T-Mobile’s customer-obsessed goals. Responsibilities include orienting and grounding Mobile Associates to a standard of Loving Our Customers, ensuring customer needs are met and experiences are comfortable and simple, observing Mobile Associates’ interactions to inform development and coaching, managing customer wait times, staying current on products, services, and promotions, leading by example with training and leadership best practices, coaching Mobile Associates to meet monthly success metrics, maintaining store environment quality and adhering to plan-o-gram standards, keeping displays current, executing Retail Methods & Procedures, ensuring teams are knowledgeable about store systems and corporate communications, delivering financial results based on KPIs, identifying ways to manage and control store expenses, and managing discounting and credits. Experience required includes 1 year of customer service and/or sales in a retail environment; ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to lead and mentor people; outstanding communication with teammates and customers.
