Job Summary
The Retail Assistant Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team, delivering T-Mobile customer experiences and Mobile Associate success. Responsibilities include orienting and grounding Mobile Associates to Loving Our Customers, ensuring customer needs are met, coaching and developing staff through observations and feedback, managing customer wait times, staying current on products, services, and promotions, leading by example with training and leadership best practices, ensuring adherence to Retail Methods & Procedures, maintaining store visuals and displays, and ensuring teams are knowledgeable about store systems and corporate communications. The role also focuses on delivering financial results based on KPIs, identifying ways to control store expenses, and mentoring staff to achieve goals. The candidate should have 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience (retail preferred), be available for varied schedules including nights/weekends/holidays, and demonstrate leadership and communication skills.
