Job Summary
T. H. Bell Jr High Part-time Visual Arts Teacher (182 days, 8.0 hours every other day, 0.5 FTE) in Weber School District. Teaches Visual Arts to assigned students, develops lesson plans, adapts curriculum to student needs, and uses classroom technology. Maintains classroom organization, monitors student behavior, and provides a safe learning environment. Assesses student progress, maintains records, communicates with parents, and collaborates with staff. Requires Utah teaching license, USBE endorsement in Secondary Visual Arts, and a bachelor’s degree; in-person duties at the Washington Terrace, UT site; attendance and district policy adherence are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Utah Teaching/Educator License and relevant endorsement(s)
- USBE approved cleared criminal background check
- Secondary Visual Arts endorsed by USBE
