Job Summary
Lead the design and engineering of protection and control systems for HV substations, including protection schemes, control architectures, and relay settings; oversee detailed secondary engineering deliverables (schematics, interlocking, relay configurations), protection coordination studies, and SCADA integration; provide technical oversight and mentorship to protection and control engineering teams, coordinating across multidisciplinary groups and interfacing with clients, project managers, contractors, and vendors; requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 12-15+ years of experience in protection and control engineering for HV substations; proficiency with AutoCAD, protection relay configuration, IEC 61850, and commissioning/field testing; Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent certification is a nice-to-have.
