Systems Test Technician I (Temporary - 6 Month Contract)

System Test Technician I (Temporary - 6 Month Contract) supports engineering activities including design and execution of system-level testing, development of protocols and test methods, and verification of medical device hardware/software. Responsibilities include performing experiments, organizing and presenting data, executing test methods and protocols, assisting in constructing/test equipment, fault isolation, data review for compliance to specifications, maintaining lab documentation and calibration records, training plan compliance, and ensuring adherence to Privacy/HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Requires ability to read and follow procedures, effective written/verbal communication, teamwork, and MS Office proficiency. Onsite role in San Diego, CA with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule; temporary employment through a staffing partner. Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus Bachelor’s or AA Technical Degree or equivalent with at least 1 year of engineering/lab testing experience. Preferred: experience with statistical data analysis and medical device testing. Safety and regulatory compliance, data integrity, and documentation management are emphasized along with the ability to promote team cooperation and provide clear recommendations.
