Job Summary
Provide technical hardware and software support for Plant 65 in Andalusia, AL, including LAN and WAN administration and remote assistance to IT Services in Dalton and Cartersville. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, train users on the Yarn Shop Floor and supported applications, and install software on standalone PCs. Maintain local equipment, ensure security, and manage capital and expense projects for plant-level IS/IT systems. Accept and route Request for Mfg IS Services to appropriate routings while assisting corporate personnel with new plant system development and hardware upgrades. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience; works an 8-hour non-rotating shift.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Associate's degree and two (2) years experience in an industrial plant environment
- Five years experience administering a PC network environment
