Job Summary
Systems Technician at Intellisense Systems, Inc. is a full-time role providing white-glove IT assistance for desktop and endpoint issues to on-site and remote users. The candidate will troubleshoot Windows 11, Office 365, AD, VPN, and hardware, set up new user accounts and devices, manage security incidents and incident response, coordinate with security tools (CrowdStrike, FortiGate), and perform system testing and documentation. Responsibilities include ticketing, SLA adherence, asset inventory, user training, and applying patches and updates within maintenance windows. Strong emphasis on cybersecurity posture (CMMC/NIST), Entra ID/M365 administration, Intune for endpoint management, and collaboration across IT operations with on-call readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years desktop/systems support experience
- 3–6 years hands-on experience with Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory, and VoIP systems
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware
- M365/Entra ID administration
- Experience configuring Microsoft Intune for endpoint management
- Proficiency with SharePoint
- Networking fundamentals (VLAN, DNS, IP addressing)
- Ability to manage IT assets and audits for compliance
- Understanding of security incident handling and incident response
- Experience with CrowdStrike and FortiGate logs
- VPN and remote access configuration
- Experience with system testing in non-production environments
- Knowledge of CMMC/NIST security requirements
- On-call availability (preferred)
- US Citizenship is required
- Experience with GPO and Windows security baseline implementation
- MFA administration (Duo/Azure)
- Backup and disaster recovery concepts
- Rollback procedures
- Experience with change management and documentation
- Azure/AWS cloud experience (optional)
- On-site and remote user support capabilities
- Ability to recognize security events and coordinate remediation
- Experience with ticketing systems and SLA adherence
