Job Summary
Synchronize depot functions including receiving, induction, spares provisioning, repairs, plant clearance, sales, and shipping. Provide sustainment engineering support for developmental and legacy programs to achieve long-term product sustainment strategies. Act as a liaison with engineering disciplines for Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Materials, and Structural design functions. Assist with supportability analyses and provide inventory recommendations for spares, excess scrap, and parts substitutions. Collaborate across factory and logistics teams to resolve shipping backlogs and coordinate with Depot Coordinator for hardware repair work. Engage in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, and warranty claims. Requires active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Salary range $68,900 - $131,100. Onsite role in Tucson, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date
- Experience or coursework in System Design
- Experience with depot functions and /or logistics
- Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards
- Ability to identify concerns, suggest solutions, and follow through to closure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ILS processes, including sustainment and supportability principles and concepts
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
