Systems Software Engineer

Systems Software Engineer role at Airbus Operations Limited (Permanent) based in Brize Norton, UK. Involves working within the Ground Support Systems team to perform analysis and correction service and future quality gates, proposing and implementing new tools and initiatives to enhance investigations, training, procedures and service performance. Responsibilities include identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies within GSS software; providing insights from data analysis to improve system performance; coordinating with CAMO, OCCAR, and Nations for customer requirements; supporting migration plans for new software versions; performing Reference Data audits and updating MDS with new OMP versions, aircrafts, and configurations; responding to Q-Pulse investigations; liaising with Part M, P145, and CAMO to ensure airworthiness issues are managed; collaborating with the GSD team to resolve queries. Requirements include IT system capabilities (Excel, Access, XML, SQL, PLSQL, etc), knowledge of software engineering processes and development, and ability to work with multi-national teams across military and Airbus networks.
