Job Summary

Systems Safety Engineer II responsible for assessing and modeling aircraft system functionality and intersystem dependencies, assigning functions to supporting systems, evaluating the impact of functional losses on the aircraft, and performing safety analyses (FHA/SSA/PRA) per ARP4761. Responsibilities include extracting requirements, tracing and analyzing, integrating electrical and mechanical systems, conducting fault tree analysis and failure mode analyses, evaluating design changes, and communicating technical concepts clearly. Proficiency in documenting technical rationale, coordinating with design engineers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of engineering principles is required; familiarity with hazard identification and risk analysis, aircraft systems experience, and MS Office/SharePoint are desirable. Education and experience requirements specify a Bachelor's in Engineering and 18 months related experience; travel none; full-time role at Gulfstream Savannah.
