Job Summary
Systems Quality and Reliability Engineer at NVIDIA will own, build, and manage the RMA and FA debug and root-cause analysis for NVIDIA AI/ML products. The role involves conducting tests and root-cause analysis, leading debug of field RMAs, collaborating with Systems, Hardware, Software, and operations engineers, scaling Failure Analysis capabilities, creating FA result reports aligned with standard processes (8D or similar), analyzing RMA/FA data to identify trends, driving resolution and containment plans, and overseeing hardware quality metrics (RMA rates, MTBF, Reliability Ratio). The candidate will manage FA operations for new products with CM partners, monitor field quality data, and ensure FA performance targets. Required hands-on experience includes lab equipment, reliability testing (HTOL, Burn in), FA techniques/tools (FIB, SEM, TDR, VNA, CSAM), fault isolation techniques (OBIRCH, DLS/LADA, LVP, LVI), high-speed interfaces (SerDes, PCIe, DDR), and programming skills (Python, PERL, C++, UNIX/Linux). The ideal candidate will also have PCB/system-level test and debugging expertise and be capable of coordinating with factory-floor partners.
