Job Summary
Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot the school's wired and wireless network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Manage enterprise server infrastructure, cloud platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) for macOS, Windows, and other endpoints. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, support classroom technology, and assist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and network diagrams while collaborating with the Technology Department on infrastructure projects and technology refresh planning. This full-time, 12-month classified position requires flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends, with a salary range of $28.84 - $33.65 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Three or more years of experience supporting enterprise network and systems infrastructure
- Experience administering Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, or similar cloud platforms
- Experience administering Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless networking
- Experience supporting macOS, iOS, tvOS, Microsoft Windows, and enterprise endpoint management
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies, server administration, storage systems, and cloud services
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices, endpoint security, identity management, and backup solutions
- Ability to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot technology infrastructure and related hardware
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while working independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lift, carry, and move technology equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive for occasional pickup or drop-off of supplies and equipment
- Flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
