Job Summary
Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco LAN/Wireless and VeloCloud SD-WAN technologies while managing Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls for secure, high-performance network operations. Design, implement, and monitor SSL and IPSEC VPN connections, oversee firmware updates, and troubleshoot complex server issues to minimize downtime. Perform production operations including log reviews, backups, and system maintenance, while documenting procedures and participating in the Change Management Board. Lead network-related projects across local and remote data centers, conduct system audits, and develop disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with IT Management, development teams, and vendors to resolve critical issues, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure system availability.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus route/switch configuration and management
- Proficiency with Cisco Meraki wireless and firewall solutions
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Active Directory, and related technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and project management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience administering networks and servers (50+ servers)
- Associate degree/certification in Computer Systems and 8+ years of professional IT experience
- Must be able to travel approximately 40%
- Must be available for on-site work in City of Industry, CA
- Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
