Job Summary
Analyze contract documents for constructability and code compliance while leading MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and submittal approvals. Guide on-site installation, manage material tracking and procurement, and develop project schedules alongside field supervision. Review field installation, oversee testing and commissioning, and handle close-out document delivery. Manage MEP requisitions, change orders, and staff training while monitoring labor rates and NECA factors. This active, hands-on role requires navigating construction sites with uneven terrain and lifting materials up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be adaptable to all weather conditions and loud noise levels, with flexibility to work extended hours during critical phases.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or fire protection/life safety engineering, construction management or a related discipline
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- 5-8+ years' experience in construction and managing MEP trades
- Experience with a general contractor
- Experience successfully leading teams
- Experience working within MEP design review
- Experience working within drawing supervision
- Experience working within submittal review
- Experience working within field inspections
- Experience working within testing & commissioning
- Experience working on large scale construction
- MEP trade specific experience
- Detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
