Job Summary
Conduct onsite startup, services, and troubleshooting for PLC/HMI, ROC, Total Flow, instrument, and SCADA systems within Permian Basin oil fields. Program and verify radio configurations and perform point-to-point mapping. Maintain documentation for all field operations across major energy partners. Requires four years of oil field automation experience with PLC, HMI, and instrumentation skills, plus understanding of CTB, SWD, well pad, and compressor concepts. Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug test required. Schedule involves eight days per week (six days off), working ten hours daily with variable overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Instrumentation/Automation/Controls type program
- Four years' experience in oil field automation with PLC, HMI, and instrumentation
- Understanding of some Oil Field automation concepts related to: CTB, SWD, Well pad, LACT, Compressor, Pipeline, Storage
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass follicle drug test if required
- 8 days a week (6 days off), 10 hours a day, overtime varies
- Driving to, between, and from locations in the field daily is required in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico
