Job Summary
Systems Integration & Test Engineer (SEIT) responsible for supporting site hardware deployment, integration, checkout, and test activities through verification complete; execute hardware/software integration and verification for complex mission systems; support verification of satellite ground software systems including command and control and space vehicle mission management; develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts; analyze integration failures and support resolution via log analysis and debugging tools; identify patterns across technical issues and communicate findings to developers and stakeholders; collaborate with engineering teams to improve system behavior through integration and test feedback; support technical documentation, issue tracking, test results, and status reporting; participate in agile execution environments and contribute to continuous improvement in test, automation, and delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in systems integration, test, verification, or mission-focused engineering environments
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience with site hardware deployment, integration, checkout, and test through verification complete
- Experience with satellite ground software system verification, including command and control and space vehicle mission management
- Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or test support
- Strong system architecture understanding, including the ability to comprehend how components interact and identify integration points
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts used for verification testing
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic reasoning skills, including experience analyzing integration failures, using logs and debugging tools, tracing root cause, and identifying issue patterns
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to clearly document issues and coordinate across development and engineering teams
- Ability to work independently on defined integration and test efforts in a complex technical environment
