Job Summary
Systems Integration Engineer to support compressor system integration across multiple workstreams in an aerospace/turbomachinery program. Responsibilities include cross-functional design integration, OSOR investigations and root cause analysis, technical validation and verification (V&V), SAR activities including fleet health and risk tracking, sampling closure and DoRA updates, and producing clear reports for Technical Leads. Requires experience with Teamcenter, Siemens NX, LCE tools (OSORs, FRACAS), root-cause methodologies (Fishbone, EBRCA), and broad systems integration knowledge across the product lifecycle (design, integration, validation). Familiarity with APQP, DFMEA, requirements management, and safety processes (FMECA, SARs) is expected. Desirable: independent work capability, multi-tasking, stakeholder engagement, and basic engine certification process understanding. Role located in Derby, England with hybrid remote option; UK work authorization and potential security clearance considerations apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
