Job Summary
Oversee development and coordinate technical solutions for communication and information systems requirements within the HQ USSPACECOM infrastructure. Develop and maintain CSIRs, PMI reports, and service design packages while ensuring documentation meets government standards. Chair working groups, define requirements for multi-level classification networks, and integrate systems for interoperability. Monitor requirement status through design, implementation, and accreditation stages, providing technical expertise to document solutions and coordinate logistics support with appropriate agencies. Participate in J6 IT Governance processes and interface with USSPACECOM stakeholders to deliver cost estimates and POA&Ms.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
- 6+ years of technical experience
- Meets the Core and Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Tasks (KSATs) defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 632 (NIST: SP-SYS-002)
- Experience performing system loading and (re)configuration, user account management, system backup and recovery, troubleshooting, removing, and replacing components and peripherals, installing software, operating systems and drivers
- Experience with Ansible, Windows 7, Windows 2008, Windows 10, VMware ESXi v5 or later, and Windows 2012, LINUX, UNIX (including SUN, SGI, and PC variants), and Office 365
- Experience providing Microsoft SharePoint administrative and management functions
- Experience maintaining equipment operations through Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) and repair schedules
- Required: CompTIA Security+
- Must currently hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
