Job Summary
Systems Install Technician at a leading audiovisual and rigging company in Greater Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include installing, mounting, and rigging AV, lighting, and rigging systems on job sites; pulling and terminating wiring for panels, racks, and equipment; reading CSI and architectural/engineering drawings; safely hanging truss, lights, speakers, and screens; loading/unloading gear and supporting cross-departmental projects; troubleshooting and testing installations; maintaining safety and cleanliness on-site; and collaborating with a team of technicians to deliver high-quality installations. Requires 2+ years of field installation or rigging experience (construction and/or entertainment/theatrical preferred), ability to read drawings, comfort with heights and heavy materials (50–75 lbs), and familiarity with rigging concepts from live events. The role offers up to $35/hour depending on experience and market conditions, with potential for adjustments; emphasis on a team-focused culture, stability, and growth with a family-owned company backed by recent expansion.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of field installation or rigging experience (construction + entertainment/theatrical preferred)

- Ability to read drawings and work effectively under general contractors on construction projects
