Job Summary
Systems Engineering & Verification Engineer at Rolls-Royce responsible for defining, deriving, and allocating system and sub-system level requirements based on customer and regulatory input; planning, managing, and developing verification/qualification plans; defining verification strategies for engine/sub-system requirements; turning test requirements into test plans, budgets, and schedules; ensuring test instrumentation, data acquisition, and test data recording are properly executed; leading integration between project teams to deliver a robust test program and supporting on-site and off-site development engine/sub-system build and test activities; documenting test evidence and reports; collaborating with test engineers and leadership to apply standard development and test processes. Preference for experience with DOORs, FAA and military qualification, and cross-disciplinary, cross-functional development teams. Hybrid working arrangement with three days per week in the office; relocation available; U.S. citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace) with 1+ years of related experience; OR Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace); OR PhD in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace)
