Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain complex, large-scale data flows using the NiagaraFiles software application while diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance. Conduct evaluations of existing flows to recommend and apply performance optimizations, and analyze data formatting or software issues by collaborating with engineers and developers. Partner with leadership to assess future system demands and provide recommendations on hardware and software upgrades for scalability. Deliver technical support in a Linux environment, including installation, configuration, and network support across hardware, virtual systems, and the application. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week every 6–8 weeks) with occasional on-site response for critical issues. Provide customer-facing support to address data flow questions and ensure smooth mission operations.
Required Qualifications
- Seventeen (17) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience (substitutable for a bachelor's degree)
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
