Job Summary
The Systems Engineering Manager, In-Space Propulsion will lead a sub-team focused on systems engineering, driving product success, technical decisions, and team development. Responsibilities include managing technical meetings, leading career growth initiatives, and ensuring the mission success of propulsion systems. This role requires a strong background in spacecraft propulsion design, aerospace systems engineering processes, and proven leadership in a similar technical or project management role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate industry standards effectively.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Aerospace, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace system design or project management
- Spacecraft hypergolic chemical propulsion system design experience
- Experience applying aerospace systems engineering processes
- Proven experience leading a team of peers
- Strong understanding of industry standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
