Job Summary
Establish an APAC AERO footprint in Australia to align Metrea aircraft design and modification with Australian Customer requirements, ensure CASA compliance and AV&V plans, provide Part 21 design support, collaborate with US/UK engineering teams, support transition to steady-state delivery, travel frequently to operating sites and customer locations in Australia and facilities in the UK/US.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant professional systems engineering qualifications up to CEng level
- 10+ years' experience working on aircraft design and modification projects
- Detailed knowledge of CASA certification frameworks (Part 138, Part 145, Part 42 and Part 21)
- Experience with Australian government customer methodologies for requirements
- Demonstrable experience in complex aircraft Test and Acceptance management
- Major aircraft engineering programme and project management experience
- Familiarity with airborne assets and missions across capability portfolio
