Job Summary
Systems Engineering Lead to serve as the technical architect and integrator for our robotic platform. Lead end-to-end system architecture across mechanical, electrical, embedded, controls, and software domains; define and evolve the technical roadmap to ensure platform scalability, reliability, and manufacturability; establish clear system boundaries, interfaces, and responsibility splits between engineering teams; mediate high-stakes technical decisions to keep engineering teams aligned and moving at startup speed; distill complex field data, edge-case failures, and prototype learnings into a clear system-level technical narrative.
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or equivalent practical in engineering with 7+ years of experience in designing and building complex mechatronics systems
- A passion for solving challenging technical problems – Strong engineering intuition and persistence to identify the root cause of a problem, solving problems using first principles
- Familiar with in all phases of product development lifecycle including gathering requirements, design, implementation, debug, verification, qualification, and transfer to manufacturing
- Familiar with Product Lifecycle Management and documentation control systems
