Job Summary

Systems Engineering & Integration Lead position at Boeing for the GPS IIF program. Lead a small team to manage program-wide systems engineering and integration, train and motivate team members, run the Risks, Issues, and Opportunities board, and ensure enterprise and system requirements are met across the GPS IIF program. Collaborate with GPS Program Manager, GPS Chief Engineer, and customers; manage GPS IIF requirements documents, engineering specifications, and the Orbital Operations Handbook; track GPS enterprise-level Change Requests and perform impact assessments; coordinate with Government and external companies for GPS control segments; develop and maintain IPT-level processes; participate in special studies and potentially lead projects; identify staff needs and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training; provide management feedback for IPT members; align with GPS program leadership on compliance; chair the Problem Report analysis and adjudication; own change management of program processes; role is expected to be fully onsite. Basic Qualifications include security clearance, 5+ years in SE/Integration/Testing, 3+ years in Requirements Management (DOORS), 1+ years leading projects/teams, willingness to relocate, travel up to 10%, and a relevant Bachelor’s degree. Preferred qualifications include Project Management, proposals/RFPs, GPS systems experience, MBSE, and 5+ years for Level 4/14+ years for Level 5. Relocation is not negotiable; export control and visa sponsorship restrictions apply. This is a full-time, senior-level, on-site role with US citizenship requirements and a strict no visa sponsorship policy.

Required Qualifications

  • Active interim or final U.S. security clearance; Secret or above
  • 5+ years in systems engineering, integration, and testing
  • 3+ years of experience with systems engineering Requirements Management (DOORS)
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing projects or teams
  • Willingness and ability to relocate at own expense if not within commuting distance of Schriever SFB, CO or El Segundo, CA
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent
