Job Summary
Develop and execute system integration plans for space and ground systems, leading integration activities at the system of systems, system, segment, and element levels. Research new requirements, technologies, and threats to integrate remote sensing systems and deliver warfighter capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, redesign, and author system life cycle and sustainment policies ensuring alignment with DoD guidance and directives. This hybrid role supports the development of next-generation Environmental Monitoring capabilities for military warfighters. Travel up to 25% of the time is required.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with space-based program integration, systems engineering, and logistics planning of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
- Experience with DoD acquisition program management, acquisition planning, sustainment infrastructure, and organizational planning
- Experience with subsystem hardware or software alignment
- Experience with system integration risk mitigation
- Experience with system integration test analysis
- Experience with configuration change control
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the development of Test Readiness Review packages
- Experience with remote sensing systems
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Knowledge of NASA or NOAA systems engineering processes
- Knowledge of the INCOSE standards handbook
- Knowledge of IEEE 15288 standards
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in STEM
- PMP Certification
- CSEP or ESEP Certification
