Systems Engineer

Prepare and review engineering documentation including functional design specifications, cable block diagrams, I/O lists, instrumentation calculations, P&ID's, control narratives, system architecture drawings, system cabinet layout, and wiring and power distribution drawings. Ensure systems engineering and design deliverables are developed and issued in accordance with project schedule and procedures. Implement major software application packages and compile FAT, SAT, and "End of Job" documentation. Present training on systems as required and provide guidance to less experienced engineers. Support the Project Manager in technical issues and assist the Sales team with proposal and bid submissions. Stay abreast of strategic engineering solution developments, competitor products, and latest industry technology improvements. Work closely with other engineers exchanging information while complying with all relevant engineering standards, internal procedures, and company safety and quality policies.
