Job Summary
Manage mission-critical infrastructure and application deployments across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring operational readiness ahead of market opening. Conduct application maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support client-facing teams with infrastructure provisioning and upgrades. Execute Infrastructure as Code for resource management and collaborate with security to remediate vulnerabilities. Perform BAU systems administration using automation tools like PowerShell and maintain global support handovers between regional departments. Work independently within a multi-talented team to deliver project goals and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Infrastructure and OS background, Windows & Linux
- Azure and AWS experience, e.g AKS, EKS
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible and other automation platforms
- Experience in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD
- Experience with supporting and troubleshooting applications using industry standard technologies such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic and Splunk
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation concepts and the ability to implement automation to resolve recurring issues
- Knowledge of Virtualisation
- Ability to troubleshoot networking issues
- Understanding of GIT, code reviews etc
- Shift work is necessary
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a FinTech environment
- Understanding of Microsoft SQL principles
- Previous experience in an application support capacity
- Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks
- Be able to work independently and take initiative where necessary
- Be able to work in a multi talented team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
