Job Summary
Expert-level Systems Engineer to support the FBI's Enterprise Cybersecurity Section for cyber incident response, threat detection, and event monitoring. Requires US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility to start due to federal contract requirements. Responsibilities include designing, coordinating, and implementing network hardware and operating systems, providing day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting at the physical and logical levels, planning and integrating new network infrastructure, and ensuring security and accreditation processes align with standards. Proficiency in virtualization and network administration, TCP/IP, and client/server architectures, plus the ability to advise on technology purchases and develop supporting documentation and SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Deep experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory
- Understanding of NIST 800 series publications and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance
