Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for providing system lifecycle support across design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex technical systems for government clients. Work within a collaborative team to ensure reliable operation, translate requirements into effective system solutions, troubleshoot and implement improvements, evaluate performance, create/maintain technical documentation, and coordinate with vendor partners. Requires U.S. citizenship, current TS/SCI with polygraph, and advanced degrees or equivalent experience in engineering or related disciplines; 6-10 years of hands-on lifecycle experience; on-site at Fort Meade, MD with relocation support considered for candidates outside the DC metro area. Must be able to work independently in a dynamic, security-cleared environment.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Education in engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., computer science, physics, math)
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience supporting the systems engineering lifecycle (design and development; testing; production; deployment and distribution; operation; maintenance and support; decommissioning)
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work in collaborative government-contractor teams
- Self-driven and able to work independently in dynamic environments
