Job Summary
Provide engineering and acquisition support to the Early Systems Engineering Program, applying technical expertise to systems and subsystems including configuration management, data management, and security. Manage complex system interfaces to ensure effective integration of multiple subsystems while verifying that system requirements meet user needs. Conduct capability analyses, COTS/GOTS evaluations, and risk assessments to document findings in technical reports as directed by task orders. Construct models and simulations to demonstrate system ability to meet user requirements and support performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability studies. Full-time position at Lackland AFB, Texas; requires US citizenship, active Secret clearance, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering role with 2 years in a DoD Environment
- Knowledge of Cyber Situational Awareness, to include Security Information and Event Management (SIEM: Atc, Splunk, Elastic Stack, etc.) and/or other cyber tools
- Understand risks with the probabilities/consequences and creating risk matrices
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of interdisciplinary engineering experience and exposure to procurement activities
