Job Summary
This role involves providing 2nd Line support through a ticketing system and phone support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, leading operational support of IT infrastructure, and collaborating with applications teams. Successful candidates will have experience with Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud technologies. Knowledge of enterprise architecture and the ability to improve system performance are essential. Relevant certifications and experience with database management are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in ICT, Engineering or related field or a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an enterprise IT environment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Linux
- Knowledge in Virtualization, Cloud, Storage and networking technologies
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems Windows and Linux
- Awareness of Hybrid Integration Platforms
- Good command of the English language
- Possess a valid driving license

- HPE Certifications mainly Storage and Servers
- Microsoft Certifications mainly MCSE/MCSA and Azure
- VMware Certifications
- Linux Certifications mainly Redhat or Oracle linux
- Cisco Certifications mainly CCNA
